Can You Just Close Your Eyes On A Sunbed

The treasure hunt for Montalbano Family

Andrea Camilleri gives us the 'yet another appointment with the adventures of Inspector Montalbano and as is tradition, I rush to buy the black booklet saddlery. Browse the front page with apprehension, because in latest releases, our Salvuzzo had seemed too bitter, dark, started striding toward a solitary intellectual and physical decline. I am a bit sad, I confess.
Instead, in what is one of his more grim stories, one of the stories where the exploration of human folly and its dark side plumb deeper, Except becomes ironic and sometimes funny.
Mind you, the middle ages you full for our Montalbano, but the misfortune to deal with aging, are lightened by some really hilarious situations, and especially from a background of hope that illuminates the whole story.
The story is not the best thought out, so much so that well before the middle of the story in person I had personally assumed the solution of the case (by the way, even based on my personal insight is very serious ...), but can be understood easily and - though it appears the mystery actually easy to solve - captivates the right.
We read in two evenings, one of the most greedy, and is also recommended under the 'umbrella.
Not a masterpiece but enjoyable and ultimately reassuring.
